New York is a coalition of architects, builders, engineers, emergency services personnel and policymakers backed by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, whose mission is to educate and support the building and design communities who utilize concrete in one form or another on every project and to highlight the advantages of ready mixed concrete and encourage its use as the building material of choice for low to mid rise structures. Build with Strength – New York has partnered with the New York Construction Materials Association to support the AIA New York State Chapter.
The New York Construction Materials Association represents the business and regulatory interests of producers of Hot Mix Asphalt (Blacktop), Ready Mixed Concrete and Construction Aggregate (sand, gravel, and crushed stone).  Since its inception, NYMaterials has become a potent advocate for the construction materials industry. Their committees comprised of, and lead by, industry professionals routinely meet with regulators and specifiers to add an important industry perspective to new initiatives.
