AIA New York State is a proud Community Partner of Reimagine Buildings ’26: The Solutions. We encourage you to attend and to share it with colleagues working in design, construction, and building performance.
This year’s event is a full-day global training for the building community. For the first time, Passive House Accelerator is co-curating the program with three partner organizations, and each one leads a session: Carbon Leadership Forum on materials, AIA COTE® (Committee on the Environment) on design, and the BS+Beer Show on delivery. The speakers are people working on these problems right now, and the sessions focus on solutions you can bring back to your own projects.
The day is scheduled so people in as many time zones as possible can join live. CEs are available for sessions attended live and for the recordings.
WHAT’S ON THE PROGRAM
MATERIALS, co-curated with Carbon Leadership Forum: Explore the materials, systems, and strategies reducing the carbon impact of buildings. What’s working now, and what will make better material choices easier and more scalable?
DESIGN, co-curated with AIA COTE® (Committee on the Environment): Explore projects and design approaches pushing high-performance buildings forward. What can we learn from the people designing for better performance, healthier spaces, and more resilient communities?
DELIVERY, co-curated with the BS+Beer Show: Get into the realities of getting better buildings built. What’s working in the field, where are teams finding solutions, and what can make high-performance building more practical to deliver?
