AIA New York State’s Annual Honor Awards program celebrates architects, firms, emerging professionals, and educators throughout New York State. Do you know an individual or firm that has contributed significantly to the profession of architecture?

The Firm Award is broken down into three categories:

Small Firm: 1-25 employees
Medium Firm: 26-50 employees
Large Firm: 51+ employees

Who May Nominate an Honor Award Candidate?

2025 Honor Awards nominations may come from any AIA New York State member in good standing (someone other than the candidate), with the exception of the Local Chapter Emerging Professionals Committee Award, Fellows Award, and Honorary Member awards, which require the nomination by a New York State local Chapter. This can be through the Executive Director, CACE Member, or Chapter President. Honorary Member nominations can also come from any AIANYS Board of Directors Member.

The Firm Award nomination may come from an AIA New York State member or component. Self-nominations are permitted for the Firm Award.
