Is your writing costing you clients? Find out how to turn your words into your most powerful marketing tool.

Program Summary
Are you tired of feeling stuck when it comes to writing about your work? Too often, architects struggle to articulate their value, leading to missed opportunities, muddled messaging, and wrong-fit clients.
In this 90-minute workshop, writer and strategist Jimmy Stamp will teach you the four CORE elements of strategic narratives that will align your firm’s brand, differentiate your work, and attract the right clients. Improved CLARITY will take your messaging from confused to compelling. ORIGINALITY transforms your brand from generic to genuine. You’ll grow from being overlooked to being in demand with RELEVANT messaging. And good Execution elevates you from a random architect to recognized authority.
This is the same framework that Jimmy uses to write award-winning case studies, high-converting proposals, and brand messaging that helps firms grow with integrity. But you don’t need to be a writer to do all this. You just need to write by design.
Learning Objectives
By the completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. Apply three proven copywriting principles to make your writing clearer, more compelling, and more effective — without overthinking or wasting time.
2. Write a five-sentence profile that defines what makes your firm unique. Use a simple brand strategy framework so your messaging attracts the right clients and strengthens your business.
3. Structure and write value-driven narratives that connect with clients, showcase your expertise, and drive real business results.
4. Transform your messaging with a client-first formula to ensure your writing feels personal and compelling.

▼ Jimmy Stamp, Founder at ADVSCOPY
Jimmy Stamp is an Eisner-nominated writer, recovering architect, and the principal of ADVSCOPY, the copywriting agency for architects. As a writer and brand strategist, he’s helped everyone from solo practitioners to multi-billion-dollar firms sharpen their messaging, strengthen their practice, and share their value. He’s the co-author, with Robert A.M. Stern, of Pedagogy & Place and the author of A Grid and a Conversation: Morris Adjmi Architects. For nearly 20 years, his writing on architecture, design, and pop culture appeared in publications like The Guardian, Smithsonian, The Architect’s Newspaper, among others. ADVSCOPY is the natural next step. After years of writing about architects, Jimmy now writes for them, combining journalistic storytelling, industry insight, and strategic copywriting to make their work as clear and compelling as the spaces they design. When he’s not helping AEC pros tell their stories, he’s telling his own. His Eisner-nominated short comic The Beekeeper’s Due was recognized in 2023, and he’s currently working on The Relics of Northmore, a comic book series inspired by the real-life adventures of architect Augustus W.N. Pugin. Jimmy holds a Master of Environmental Design from Yale and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Architecture from Tulane.
