What is the AIA New York State Allied Membership Program?

The AIA New York State Allied Membership Program allows corporations and individuals not otherwise eligible for AIA New York State membership to participate in some of the services that we provide. Joining AIA New York State as an Allied Member in our “Opportunity Program” has its benefits… It will provide you access to more than 8,500 AIA New York State members, enhance your overall visibility, and reinforce your affiliation with our organization, as well as with other design related professionals throughout New York State.

Recent studies indicate that architects specify more than 70 percent of the building related products used in construction today. Being part of the AIANYS extended family may well be the most cost effective opportunity to increase your business. Not only will you gain valuable networking opportunities, but you will also be informed of issues and trends on the forefront of the architects as they plan for today, tomorrow and the future.

What is AIA New York State?

AIA New York State (AIANYS) is the second largest state component of The American Institute of Architects representing more than 8,500 members on issues of statewide importance to the public and profession.

With headquarters located in Albany, AIANYS provides easy and convenient representation of architect’s interests and issues before New York’s Legislature and regulatory agencies.
