About the Convention
AIA New York State, AIA Rochester, AGC of New York State, ACEC New York, NYS Society of Professional Engineers, NYS Association of Professional Land Surveyors and American Society of Landscape Architects-New York Chapters are hosting the first-ever joint convention Re-Build New York: MAINSTREETS September 24, 25, and 26, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York.
This event will bring together architects, builders, engineers, land surveyors and landscape architects from all over New York State. The convention will feature a two-day trade show with vendors from all over the country, continuing education programs, tours of historical landmarks and evening social events.
Cutting-edge continuing education seminars led by top experts in their fields will be held throughout the three days of the convention. Tours of the architecture of Rochester with guides leading the way are also scheduled throughout convention.
The Product Showcase will run for two days, September 24 and September 25, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Check out the latest products and services from our vendors all in one place! The Product Showcase will also feature an opening reception, continental breakfast and lunch with the exhibitors.
The Opening Keynote Luncheon, on Thursday, September 24 and the Closing Keynote Luncheon, on Saturday, September 26 will both feature dynamic keynote speakers.
The President’s Reception, Dinner and Design Awards Presentation will be held on Thursday, September 24 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. This black tie-preferred dinner will recognize outstanding works of architecture by New York State architects.
The beautiful George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film will be the site for this year's Friday night event. The house, a National Historic Landmark, combines the world’s leading collections of photography and film with the stately pleasures of the landmark Colonial Revival mansion and gardens that George Eastman called home from 1905 to 1932.
The party will feature great food, music and fun!
